They say that the secret in the sauce – and in this case the sauce is Isaiah 17!!
17 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.
5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.
6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the Lord God of Israel.
7 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.
8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.
9 In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.
10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:
11 In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.
12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.
14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.
Whispers in the Pentagon and elsewhere in official Washington seem to indicate the Israelis may wait to launch massive airstrikes against Iranian nuclear sites until at least after the elections this summer in Iran.
But in the last 48 hours, Israel launched surprise airstrikes in Syria territory. The targets: shipments of Iranian missiles moving through Syria and bound for the Hezbollah terror forces in Lebanon. The message to the mullahs in Iran: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu isn’t hesitant to use force when he needs to.
“It was the second time in four months that Israel had carried out an attack in foreign territory,” noted the New York Times in its coverage.
As I’ve reported before, the Obama administration has long been pressuring Israel not to attack Iran. The latest reason: maybe the upcoming elections will lead to a change of policy in Iran. The first round of presidential and municipal elections will be held June 14th. If no presidential candidate receives a majority of the (rigged) vote (which often happens), the runoff would occur on June 21st.
The Israelis aren’t holding their breath. They don’t expect change amidst a rigged, corrupt so-called “democratic process” in which the Ayatollah Khamenei will quietly choose his favorite and make sure the ballot boxes are adequately stuffed for his man. Still, generally speaking, Netanyahu wants to go the extra mile in his relationship with President Obama and not precipitate an attack unless and until he can truly say he has exhausted all less dangerous options.
Thus, if the rumors in Washington are true (and not disinformation designed to mask a sooner attack), it would suggest before the Israelis start a new regional war they want to assess — and be seen assessing — whether Iran’s new government will maintain its hardline pursuit of nuclear weapons, or whether it would be willing to negotiate and give up the country’s atomic ambitions.
But even while being as patient as possible, Netanyahu cannot ignore Iranian efforts to beef up the missile forces of Hezbollah, the implosion inside Syria, the danger of Syria WMD being used or being transferred to jihadists, and the steady Iranian march towards The Bomb. The airstrikes in the last 48 hours help him send a message that his patience is running out, and that the Israelis have very precise intelligence on what Iran and its allies are up to.
Here’s the latest coverage from the New York Times.
“The airstrike that Israeli warplanes carried out in Syria was directed at a shipment of advanced surface-to-surface missiles from Iran that Israel believed was intended for Hezbollah, the militant Lebanese organization, American officials said Saturday,” reports the Times. “It was the second time in four months that Israel had carried out an attack in foreign territory intended to disrupt the pipeline of weapons from Iran to Hezbollah, and the raid was a vivid example of how regional adversaries are looking after their own interests as Syria becomes more chaotic.”
It is my opinion that the Isaiah 17 war is drawing very close indeed, and that it is the first domino to fall in a sequence of events that leads to the full rise of antichrist, THE COVENANT with many, which is already in the wings, called OSLO ACCORDS, and that when this war is over, the world will be stunned and the UN will move, along with Obama, to intercede in the Middle East and FORCE a peace accord upon the region by military might, as the United States, NATO will move rapidly to stop the fighting and ensure that Israel survives. Obama and Secretary of Defense Hegel has warned Israel NOT to strike Iran, and we know that Syria is just a proxy of Iran – and Washington was not advised or warned that this strike was coming. So much for warning the US ahead of time – which from the Israeli perspective is a smart move, because Obama would warn Syria it was coming, and Israel knows they cannot trust Obama whatsoever.
According to informed Middle Eastern security officials, U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel delivered a strongly worded message to Israel – do not attack Iran. The officials told WND that Hagel informed the Israeli government the Obama administration will not accept any unilateral Israeli attack against Iran and that Israel must not strike Tehran without coordination with the U.S. Hagel further told Israel that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cannot decide alone whether Iran has crossed the nuclear threshold, or the so-called Red Line previously outlined by the Israeli leader. In a speech at the United Nations in September, Netanyahu drew a red line on a drawing of a bomb, depicting the point where he said Iran will have enough medium-enriched uranium to move rapidly toward building a nuclear bomb.”
That means that Israel will most likely launch a preemptive attack that levels Damascus, when Syria responds to the recent attack and this will escalate into Isaiah 17 and the ruin of Damascus. Now many folks are saying that Psalm 83 is what is going on, but Psalm 83 is an ATTITUDE or mental mindset of the Arab world, not a war. It is a THREAT OF WAR, and a threat of total annihilation if Israel does something the Arab world does not like, which she just did. This recent attack has brought condemnation against Israel already, and Assad says this attack was a declaration of war.
The question is, is this Isaiah 17 conflict the SUDDEN DESTRUCTION that comes upon the world with almost no notice, unless you are watching. We do not know, so we watch, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem and hope that Jesus will return soon and bring total peace to a troubled world. Of course we know that ANTICHRIST will attempt to do that, but as Isaiah 17 says, the end of that attempt is a day of sadness and sorrow for Israel and the world.
The time for Isaiah 17 is, according to our research in the Omega Code sometime in 2013/2014, as it appears this brings the rise of antichrist, a false peace, and the gentile world in control of Temple Mount and Israel.
And do not forget Turkey, which has already thrown in with the Russian-China Security operations. Turkey is a part of the coalition that invades Israel in the Ezekiel 38/39 war, and that war is when America is attacked and destroyed.
